A number of secular and gospel artistes are busy recording jingles for the much hyped “Judgment Night 2” slated for April 18 at the National Sports Stadium.

The event is being hosted by the United Family International Church founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

Flamboyant gospel rap artiste Mudiwa Mtandwa and Willis Wattaffi composed a jingle titled “Wanga”. The song is largely a remix of the popular hit “Wanga” from Africa Revenge.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, the two artistes said the jingle is meant to invite people to come and witness the greatness of God.

“We believe Prophet Makandiwa is a man of God and we have seen the works of God through him. There is need to educate our nation that there are true prophets of God,” they said.

On another note, dendera musician, Suluman Chimbetu composed his own version titled “KwaMakandiwa”.

The song is about a person who is encountering many challenges in life and is determined to go to the judgment night where he hopes all his problems will be solved.

He hopes to get salvation and deliverance on this night where he will encounter with God through his servant Prophet Makandiwa.

Upcoming gospel artistes, Pastor Hubert Chigumira and Tinashe Magacha have also released a jingle titled “Huyai Mose” for the event.

Pastor Chigumira said he was inspired to pen down the song because of what he witnessed at the last Judgment Night.

“I was inspired to do the song because the experiences l saw at the last Judgment Night. I saw many outstanding miracles that shocked most of the people that attended.

“So it is an invitation song for people to come in their numbers to see for themselves what will be transpiring,” he said.

Artistes expected to perform at the show include Chimbetu, The Charambas, Gospel Power, Sebastian Magacha, Mahendere Brothers, Joyce Simeti, Pastor Gee and Pastor Hubert C among others.
