DYNAMOS maintained their two-point PSL lead after Sunday’s 1-0 edging of visiting Shabanie Mine, but hero of the day Ronald Chitiyo says it will not be easy for them to lift a fourth successive league title.

When the match appeared to be headed for a goalless draw, Chitiyo separated the two sides with a wonder goal eight minutes to go.

The Harare giants are two points ahead of second-placed ZPC Kariba whom they will face away in the penultimate match of the season.

The ZPC Kariba match would be one of the only two remaining games outside Harare for Dynamos as they will also visit Buffaloes in their next league tie.

They will host Chapungu who beat them in the reverse fixture in Gweru.

Callisto Pasuwa’s men will also play rejuvenated Harare City in a derby clash as well as hosting struggling Bantu Rovers.

They wind up the campaign with a home encounter against How Mine.

“The league campaign is getting harder by each passing game. We are fighting for the league title and along the way there are others fighting to avoid relegation,” Chitiyo said.

“That has made it difficult for us and you can see we struggled to beat Shabanie Mine because they are in the relegation zone.

“We will just have to continue working hard and I believe it could be our season again.”

The Harare giant’s next match is this weekend’s NetOne One Wallet final against Triangle with coach Calisto Pasuwa expected to be back for that tie at the National Sports Stadium.

Pasuwa who is also the Zimbabwe Under-23 coach left the country for Cairo, Egypt at the weekend for a two day Fifa Technical Conference.

The technical conference to be attended by head coaches and technical directors of all Fifa member associations will discuss a technical review of the 2014 Fifa World Cup and other issues on football development.

The conference starts on Tuesday and ends on Thursday and Pasuwa is expected back home on Friday before he faces Biggie Zuze’s Triangle in a bid to lift the trophy.

Said Dynamos team manager Richard Chihoro: “Pasuwa will be available for this match. He is coming back on Friday.”

Last time Dynamos were booted out of the Zimbabwe National Army Charity Shield by rivals Caps United after he had gone for a coaching clinic.

Assistant coach Philemon Mutyakureva was left in charge of the team.

Pasuwa was also absent attending another coaching course when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Hwange at Rufaro.
