A new hangout called Continental Lounge is set to open tonight at Mabelreign Shops just in time for the festive season.

The new club will cater for those seeking a night of fun and cheap drinks outside the Central Business District where there is spacious parking and tight security. Throughout the weekend, the lounge will present what is known as “Binge Weekends” where all beverages will be at affordable prices as low as US$1 a shot but while experiencing quality entertainment and cool ambience. The lounge will play host to famed club DJs in the likes of Dee Nosh, Mark Hustler, Sims and TafMiles on the decks.

The quartet has been rocking the masses in several pubs and clubs dotted around Harare including the Grain.

According to Kudzai Matongo aka Dee Nosh, the club will give revellers in Mabelreign and the surrounding areas one of the best nightlife in Harare.

“As you may be aware Mabelreign has a long history of upmarket clubs. There was once a club called Enigma that used to draw huge rhumba crowds. So we are hoping that the Continental Lounge will ride on that popularity of the area,” Dee Nosh said.

He said the DJs will be throwing down some serious party tracks whether house, R’n’B and dancehall in the spirit of the festival mood. Dee Nosh is one of top DJs to emerge from Harare. He knows how to keep the crowd on the dance floor with the freshest music and dance classics. Over the years, he has been hosting successful Beach parties at different venues.

The official opening starts at 5pm but every other day doors open at 12 midday. While it is a no under 21 club, dress code is smart causal for men and chic for the ladies.
