DYNAMOS’ bid to use striker Roderick Mutuma in their campaign suffered a blow after the Premier Soccer League leadership turned down the clubs’ application to register the tall player.

Mutuma was offloaded by South African side, Bloemfontein Celtics, and the champions had added him to their squad.

Since his return to Harare, Dynamos had been waiting for the reverse international transfer certificate, in the hope that the player could boost their attack.

Yesterday, Mutuma was part of the players who were not included in the side that lost to 1-0 Buffaloes, following the complications in his move.

Dynamos secretary Webster Chikengezha said they were aised by the league’s chief executive Kenny Ndebele that Mutuma does not qualify to be registered soon.

“The Premier Soccer League have refused to register him because they are saying the nature of the termination of his contract does not qualify him to be free agent,” said Chikengezha.

“We need to e on the statues and see what they say in such scenarios. We got the ITC on Thursday and the papers were already with the PSL.

“Maybe, we have to engage Zifa on the matter because we need the player,” said Chikengezha.
