Your goals and dreams must be written in a journal or notebook. This will ignite a fire, divine power and divine strength within your soul. You will begin to reach out for your goals and dreams, once said Lailah Gifty Akita.

It is true that to be an aspiring tennis player, the dream is Wimbledon. To a perfectly pitched vocalist, it’s the centre stage either on Showbizz or higher than that being Broadway. Whatever teenager’s dream, God has wired them for a unique future full of possibilities.

In relation to this, remember the team that brought you the Dream Big diaries, yes this time it is all about the career application which can be downloaded on your smartphones.

The application called Dream Big is a free download android app which comes with three free subjects while the other subjects can be bought for only $1,49 using Ecocash, Telecash, Visa, MasterCard and Zimswitch.

In an interview with CLS, application developer Ignatius Munengwa said the application has over 500 different careers to explore.

“Our main target clients are students and parents too can assist in the decision making but first priority are the students so that they make better informed decisions,” he said.

He said it is a global app and is available on the Google playstore internationally. “The information in this app will help you see the careers you can pursue and what it takes.

In January there will be a list of universities linked to the various careers for students to choose from. The options will give parents and students local, regional and international options. This feature will give young students more options to pursue their dreams. It’s a must have and key for students who just finished their O and A levels and those searching to change careers,” he said.

Munengwa said Zimbabwe needs our youth to explore opportunities to fulfil and execute Zim-Asset.

“Without exposure we may continue to outsource key sectors as many are ignorant of the necessary careers. Get the dream big careers app and get connected to build our nation,” he said Trymore Dube (17), from Celebration Centre said the app is very useful because it gives a wide range of career opportunities.

“I think it is a noble idea after all we love to play with our smartphones and downloading apps but now we have something serious to play around with,” she said.

Get ready, download the app and those who have downloaded the app please send a screenshot of the picture to CLS numbers on 0773631724 before December 28 and stand a chance to win the Dream Big diary.

It’s only for the first 10 lucky winners.
