THERE is a time in life when you come head on with your purpose a time when you look eye to eye with that which you have longed for and craved for all the days of your life. Friends I have a good word for you this is the season and the time for your purpose — a unique season not to be missed. Are you down-trodden, weary, struggling and been thinking it’s over in your life? Thinking you are already finished and that where you are is where you were born to be? Hold on a little bit. Something has been waiting for you for a long, long time.

That powerful thing is called purpose face to face with it. Like the donkey of Mark 11 in the Bible, discover the power of purpose and how it can turn around your story from failure, poverty, lack, confusion, inferiority and a hurtful life to success, fulfilment and destiny!

Whoever you are and wherever you are, even if you are reading this article in hospital, behind bars or anywhere you are this hour — this is your time!

“And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strew them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord” (Mark 11:8-9).

We were reading from Mark 11 in the past weeks where we hear of the record-breaking donkey that carried the King of Kings into the city of Jerusalem. The donkey did the impossible and unthinkable.

Hear me today reader, even if you were counted not to be a person or somebody in life things are shifting and changing. The nobodies of this world will be made somebodies by the Lord.

When purpose comes your way, no devil or limit can stand your way. No charms, juju, misfortune, bad luck or things done in rituals will penetrate or prevail against you. Something good is coming your way something powerful. You are getting face to face with purpose, the very reason why you exist and are here on earth.

We see the donkey for the first time seeing a multitude of people, big crowd, rejoicing and giving praise and glory! Not only that, but we also see the donkey walking on a strawed road, branches and other materials which were placed on the way for it to step on, carrying Jesus. What great honour it experienced — purpose had come its way!

There is a point I want to make clear here purpose doesn’t just bring in spiritual fulfilment friends, No. It doesn’t end there only. It also entails the material aspect and tangible things of life.

The donkey was walking on actual materials laid on its way and not spiritual branches and spiritual garments. Purpose will unlock all your physical needs and the desire of your heart materially. Purpose will put food on your table, pay fees for your children, shelter you in your own house and provide the means of transportation, clothing and all upkeep you need.

Poverty is broken, lack bows down when purpose has come! O hallelujah! With purpose, you can go anywhere you are not even known but still find your way to the top and live a good life. It’s called purpose!

You hear people say, Ah no, Sir please come and stay here, come and do this, come and have this! “A man’s gift maketh room for him,” according to Proverbs 18:16.

Two more keys to walk in your purpose are to fight and refuse to feel inferior and taking the initiative of being proud in yourself and proud of where you are today on your way to where you are supposed to be!

Because everything happened so fast and with supernatural speed the donkey had to quickly adjust to some things. In this season when you come face to face with purpose you quickly need to make adjustments in order to catch up and flow with the plan and purpose of God for your life.

You can’t enjoy the new season with old season attitude or old season mentality! Shake off inferiority and learn to believe in yourself! You can’t go far with inferiority. It’s a purpose-killer! It suffocates your purpose and brings stagnation in your life. Fight it shake it off, in Jesus name!

One of the reasons why people feel inferior is because they look at where they are and think they will always be there. No, no, no. Let me give you a cure and a helpful little secret begin to be proud of yourself and where you are today on your way to be where you are supposed to be in life!

Begin also to do things you never did before. Even small things like buying yourself and your family liver, 100 percent orange juice and those things you have always felt are for important people only in life!

Go for dinner with your family somewhere and enjoy every bit of it. Change even the old long-spent bed you still sleep on, and buy a bigger and nicer one! Don’t tell me eh Bishop its wasting money, budget bishop budget!

Come on, no, no, no it’s not wasting money! Everything has its place and time in life. Don’t die poor, working so hard and living and empty life, never enjoying the fruit of your labour! No, no, no.

“For thou shall eat the labour of thine hands: happy thou shalt be, and it shall be well with thee” (Psalms 128:2, Ecclesiastes 5:18-19)

Do all you do with dignity, honour and boldness, full of confidence! Even if you are asked to stand in church or before a board of directors, fear not or feel inferior! Remember the donkey had never been in such an environment. It had never seen such a big, noisy crowd! It told itself I can do it, I am bold I will not fear, panic, shy or run away!

O hallelujah! It’s a choice and a decision to enjoy life and to shake off inferiority! No one else will do that for you! Only you can do it. People may give you gifts, money, a job or all sorts of encouragement but it’s you who take the step and choice to say and declare I am somebody!

Now is the time. Avoid living in the future and daydreaming yet missing the fruit and blessing of today. On your way to your tomorrow, enjoy your today and let go of your yesterday!

Confront yesterday and move into your purpose! Today is the day, now is the time, O hallelujah! I like it, I like it. Be proud of your today be proud of your church, your company, your business, your family, your spouse and even your children!

I am proud of my church and the people I lead and I tell them so. Be proud of what you do and you will see yourself begin to progress from stagnation to success, from tears to testimonies, O glory, hallelujah! For with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27.)
