FC Platinum chairman Dumisani Sisale says his side are ready to fly the Zimbabwe flag in the CAF Confederation Cup next season. They have beefed their side with three new players. Sisale confirmed they have taken on board CAPS United anchorman Tendai Samanja following the expiry of his contract. The ambitious side have also signed impressive Black Rhinos forward Brian Muzondiwa and Zimbabwe youth international Emmanuel Mandiranga from How Mine.

“We are more than ready to play in Africa and tomorrow (today) we are going to submit our provisional squad to ZIFA and I can simply say we are ready to roll.

“We have signed three players Tendai – (Samanja) Emmanuel (Mandiranga) and Brian (Muzondiwa).

“We have retained most of the players and we are going to retain our technical team after a good show this season,” said Sisale.

The platinum miners have parted ways with striker Michelle Katsvairo, who is a free agent, Benjamin Marere and goalkeeper Talbbot Shumba.

“Michelle expressed his desire to go home to stay nearer to his family and we could not say no. Benjamin (Marere’s) and Talbott (Shumba’s) contracts had expired and they were free to leave,” said Sisale.
