Zvishavane based side FC Platinum will be hoping to continue with their impressive run in their CAF Confederations Cup campaign when they clash with Tanzanian giants Young Africans in a first round, first leg tie at Benjamin Mkapa in Dar-es-Salam today.

The Zimbabweans who arrived in Tanzania on Friday will be hoping to replicate the performance that saw them secure a crucial 2-1 away victory to Kenya’s Sofapaka in the opening leg of the preliminary stage.

Norman Mapeza’s charges this time face what could be a daunting task as ‘Yanga’ are no pushovers on the African Safari with far more superior history.

FC platinum go into battle missing the service of top marksman Donald Ngoma who failed to travel due to illness while Nelson Maziwisa is also out of the team but have enough depth in Obrey Chirwa and Brian Muzondiwa to cover the void left by the warriors forward.
