In such instances, recovery can be high cost or even terminal. CrashPlan Africa has been designed to move data simply and efficiently to new devices without having to rely on IT. Crashplan provides protection and un-compromised security leveraging on Liquid Telecom’s state-of-the-art data centres.

The service is deployed on-premise, or anywhere via hybrid cloud. Data is stored centrally, so all users, whether in or outside of the office can access restored data wherever they maybe and at any time. Liquid has created a pan-African high speed, highly resilient network of “on net” storage nodes.

These are housed in Liquid’s telecom secure data centres and connected to key international exchange points including Johannesburg, Harare, Nairobi and Lagos. All data stored on these nodes is encrypted during transit and at rest- allowing you to keep the encryption keys, making it impossible for unauthorized access. As with all Liquid products efficient, fast support is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.

At the breakfast launch of CrashPlan Africa in Zimbabwe, Wellington Makamure, the MD for Liquid Telecom Zimbabwe said, “Enterprises need help to protect amp manage Endpoint Data.
