The 20-year-old Mbare woman who gave birth to quadruplets in May is still in hospital, 42 days after delivery as she is yet to secure decent accommodation for her children.

In an interview yesterday, Mrs Alice Mutasa, said she was still in hospital waiting for well-wishers to help her with accommodation.

Despite numerous phone calls made to The Herald by several people intending to help, Alice’s husband, Mr Misheck Mutasa, said they had only received clothing and food assistance.

Mr Mutasa also added that he had not built at his rural home and could not take his family into his father’s dwellings.

A matron at Harare Central Hospital, Mrs Cathrine Zambe, said Mrs Mutasa’s recovery time was up but she had nowhere to go.

Alice gave birth to four bouncing girls through normal delivery at Harare Central Hospital on May 19.

Those willing to help can contact Mrs Mutasa on 0778 344 040 or Mr Mutasa on 0778007362.

Well-wishers can also contact Harare Hospital’s maternity department.
