The Golden Peacocke in Mutare is hosting a business breakfast meeting tomorrow to create a platform for networking for different stakeholders.

The meeting will be running under the theme “Manicaland Business Forum in support of Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation”

Finance and Economic Development Deputy Minister Samuel Undenge said the meeting will provide a platform to educate business on the importance of ZimAsset on economic revival of the country.

“This business forum will enable the business participants to network with each other in and outside Mutare.

“We hereby hope that the benefits to be derived from the meeting are quite plausible,” said the Minister.

He said there will be presentations from the Bankers Association of Zimbabwe on different available opportunities in the banking sector and the country as a whole.

There will also be presentations from the mining sector.

In addition, presentations of Innovation and technology from the telecommunications industry will enhance an understanding of how technology will drive the economic blue print forward.

Dr Undenge said delegates will also get a clear understanding of the benefits derived from role played by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority.

The breakfast meeting will afford the Mutare business an opportunity to exchange and benefit from each other.

Dr Samuel Undenge will be the guest of honour at the event where he will present a paper on Zim Asset and its benefits to the business community.

Zim Asset has so far succeeded in a very short time to galvanize the skills, the national talent and mindset, to create a common foundation with a common purpose that enables most players in the public and private sectors and the investment community to speak with one policy voice.
