LLOYD Mutasa says his side will not be fooled by Luke Masomere’s mind games as he leads his team into battle in a Castle Lager Premiership tie against Buffaloes at Sakubva tomorrow.

Masomere told The Herald on Thursday that he was walking away from buffaloes.

“I am a coach and I am not going to be fooled by such statements,” said Mutasa.

“Buffaloes have been playing very well and posting good results, so I am bracing for a tough encounter.

“I am urging fans to come and watch good football because it’s not everyday that we go there and play. Those who are coming are going to cherish good value of their money.”

Mutasa remains at the stadium that was his home when he announced his arrival as a stylish ball playing midfielder in the colours of Tanganga at the turn of the ’90s.

Buffaloes players are reported to have protested on Thursday over the non-payment of their dues.

Masomere will welcome Prosper Matizanadzo from injury and Tafadzwa Mombeshora from suspension.

“I am prepared for FC Platinum. I am now the Commander of Football and I am ready for a tough encounter but they must remember they will be playing against a good coach,” said Masomere.

“Platinum is the best team in the country, they have everything, including material, money and good players.

“They, however, have no history because they are still new in the league but one day they will get it right.”
