TRIANGLE United goalkeepers’ coach Gift “Umbro” Muzadzi is back at work after a serving a two-month suspension following a contractual disagreement with the club’s executive. Muzadzi was suspended at the beginning of last month and missed the Lowveld side’s last six games. The suspension was effected after Muzadzi refused to sign the three-match ultimatum they were handed by the club’s executive.

Triangle head coach Biggie Zuze and assistant Lovemore Dzoro signed the ultimatum and managed to avoid the boot.

Triangle FC decided to lift the suspension and hand Muzadzi back his position as assistant coach in charge of goalkeepers.

Club chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze was not available for comment yesterday.

An executive member who commented on condition of anonymity revealed that the differences between the executive and Muzadzi had been ironed out.

“Gift is our coach and remains our coach. We had a misunderstanding and that happens in any organisation, but we are glad that we have managed to settle the scores for the benefit of the team and all parties concerned,” said the sources.

Assistant coach Lovemore Dzoro said the decision was good for the team.

“It’s good for Muzadzi to be back especially ahead of our must-win match against Bantu. He brings experience and confidence to our camp”, said Dzoro.

Triangle signed former FC Platinum and Shabanie midfielder Hardlife Mavundi, ex-Highlanders striker Graham Ncube, Cabby Kamhapa from Chicken Inn and Chiredzi defender Jimmy Dennis Dzingai during the mid-season transfer period.
