SOUTHERN Region Division One new-boys are having a tough time with all the five teams sitting at the bottom of the standings.

However, they remain defiant that they will improve. Five teams, including former Premiership outfit Zimbabwe Saints, were promoted into Division One.

Old Nic Mine are bottom of the 16-team table but believe they will get it right.

Team manager Josham “Big Joe” Moyo will rise and win games.

“We are currently using the players who got us promoted from Division Two and I believe they are good players but games come with several results and it is just a rough spell we are going through,” Moyo said. Our target has not changed as yet and we are looking forward to remaining in Division One and next year we will have a g and competitive team.

“The start is not that bad and we have a room for improvement, especially with the window period coming up, we will have a chance to add some experienced players to the team. We have started with tough encounters but I believe we will pick ourselves up as the team is working hard.

“We have a good technical team and I believe we will start winning from this coming match.”
