Afro pop musician Nikki Magunda will collaborate with the popular Zambian duo called the Organised Family, better known as “Orga Family”, next month. The dreadlocked Orga Family siblings, Kent and Rex Singoyi, are popular with songs like “Facebook”, “Pata Pata” and “Khola Khola” among others.

The upcoming star could not hide his joy over the development.

“I am happy that finally my wish to collaborate with these guys whom I met in Malawi last year has finally come to pass.

“This collaboration will take my musical career to greater heights regionally,” he said.

The two songs will be recorded in Zambia next month.

“We are recording the two promotional tracks next month on June 20 there in Zambia and songs will be a mixture of Shona and Chichewa,” he said.

Nikki will also represent Zimbabwe together with the jazz sensation Prince Musarurwa in Malawi at the Sunbird Sand Music Festival in August.

The annual festival will run from August 29 to 31 in central Malawi at Livingstonia Beach in Salima.

The festival is meant to unite artistes as well as promote the young and upcoming artistes around the world.

Nikki rose to stardom with the hit video called “No matter What” that rocked the air waves during the festive season.

Other tracks on his current album include “Ndiye Ega”, “Maihwi” featuring Shinsoman and “Sweety”.

Apart from music, the talented singer is still a student at Midlands State University studying towards the degree in Human resource Management.

The 23-year-old artiste born in Mutare started his music career in 2011.
