Mashonaland Turf Club chairman Brian Black said they were happy to be associated with the OK Grand Challenge in this year’s race.

“Here is to twenty six years of the running of the US$40 000 OK Grand Challenge, the most celebrated family event in Zimbabwean racing,” said Black.

“We are privileged to be the generation to have been associated with the success of the event. Our relevance to both society and the business community is indeed enhanced by this innovation.

“The race is one of the most successful races in the past two and half decades for the Mashonaland Turf Club. I cannot help but reflect on this milestone, a journey we have travelled together with OK Zimbabwe.

“The Class of 2014 that constitutes the OK Grand Challenge runners this year is out setting the stage for the running of this great race.
