DYNAMOS coach Calisto Pasuwa has revealed he is disappointed with his first choice goalkeeper George Chigova after he sneaked to South Africa without his knowledge.

Chigova left for South Africa last week, to undergo medicals at SuperSport United who have declared interest to take him on board.

The Warriors goalkeeper, a product of the famed Aces Youth Academy, who signed from former Premier Soccer League side Gunners reportedly agreed terms with Matsatsantsa in February following his heroics between the posts at the CHAN tournament.

“I only heard he has gone to South Africa but if truth be told, I don’t know who cleared him. I thought he is supposed to go there in June. I am not sure whether he will come back.

“I will have to get more maybe from the management. But if it is the case then we will have to look for his replacement,” Pasuwa told reporters at the club’s training ground at Zimphos.

Dynamos face Harare City in a potentially explosive tie and will be without midfielder Cliff Sekete who has a groin injury.

However, Pasuwa said the Glamour Boys were not reading much into their opponent’s recent poor form. Harare City have not won a single game in their opening three matches that they have played so far.

“This is one of our toughest matches so far. Since Harare City came into the league, they have become one of our toughest opponents. We are not taking them lightly,” he said.

“They might not have been playing well but it’s a fact that when everyone plays Dynamos they tend to raise their game. So it’s the attitude in our camp that we are working on.

“That they have not been playing well should not make us relax. We should fight to get the three points. We have been discussing about this with the players to take the match seriously.

“They have not been playing well and might want to use the match against us to start winning so we should approach this game with the right attitude.”
