Leading commercial radio Star FM has lined up an exciting programme featuring some of the top presenters to emerge from Zimbabwe. The urban radio now plays host to veteran presenters in the likes of Tich Mataz and Kelvin “The Soul Surpreme” Sifelani, who come in as guest presenters.

The two join a stellar line-up of presenters who include Comfort Mbofana, Otis “The Flow” Fraser, Leandar Kandiero and Shingai “DJ Mox” Mokina.

Already, the radio station boasts youthful and exuberant presenters in the mould of Napster, KVG, Grace Chikaya, Iyati Takaendesa, Tariro Mazvarirwofa and J Boss.

There is no doubt, Tich Mataz (Tichafa Matambanadzo) is popular among fans on radio with his flawless presentation.

Mataz, who has a rich background in radio, is now hosting the Friday Crossover also known as the FXO as well as the action-packed Drive Time on Thursday alongside Pathisani Sibanda aka Mukwasha Mboko.

So far, it has been pretty exciting having Mataz back on the decks and the show just gets better with each day.

Sifelani, who is based in the United Kingdom, makes a welcome return to Star FM for what has been dubbed “Soul Convention Season 3”.

Absolutely, The Soul Supreme is the host with the most when it comes to throwing some rare grooves and soul music for the “soul sophistocrates”. In fact, the Soul Supreme aka “Chief Executive of the Soul Movement”, has plenty of riveting music up his sleeves.

Whenever he is back on radio fans follow him with a passion.

Possessing both the voice and the charisma, the Soul Supreme makes it easy for listeners to stay locked onto the show.

And Comfort provides the skeleton to the whole programming. Being an early bird on the Breakfast Club, Mbofs as he is known on radio, sets the tone for what is to follow during the day.

It is not easy to host the fast-paced show which coincides with the morning rush hour, but with help from Bongai Zamchya aka Zam and, of course, Nicola, it all comes together on one show.

The duo of Tariro and Iyati spice it up during The Breeze ( 9am to 12 midday) and it is always a pleasure to tune in to the show when the ladies bare their souls.

The Crossover show between 12 noon and 3pm from Mondays to Thursdays is simply out of this world with The Flow. The show, which was christened TXO byDJ Munya Milimo, the then presenter, put the station ahead of the competition. The Flow is the man to beat and he simply knows his music and will rock you with his master mixes. If you want to know what’s trending music-wise then The Flow will bring it to you.
