Urban grooves musician Stunner – real name Desmond Chideme – will share a stage with Zimdancehall musician Seh Calaz at a farewell show at Book Cafe tonight.

The “Team Hombe” hitmaker is expected to leave for United States on March 23 for a two-month tour where he will stage shows in cities such as Indiana, Miami Florida, Cleveland Ohio, Indianapolis and Washington DC.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Stunner’s manager Dzikamayi Chibaya said the musician was geared for the farewell show.

“This farewell show is going to be one of a kind because it brings together two of the most polished artistes from the genres of hip hop and dancehall.

The rationale behind this show was essentially to expose hip hop fans to a polished dancehall act, as well as give dancehall fans a chance to experience some good hip hop that they can also vibe with,” he said.

Chibaya said they chose Seh Calaz because of the musicians’ brands and fan base.

“I believe Stunner and Seh Calaz’s brands complement each other in many ways hence we thought it necessary to have a joint show. Fans should expect electrifying performances from both artists as they are rehearsing hard for this show,” he said.

Chibaya said Stunner will also use the opportunity to perform his new song, “Taunganidza Vanhu” which fans has decsribed as ‘2015 song of the year’.

“He is promising to put up a good show and has been rehearsing for both the farewell show and the tour.

I know the people love hip hop music and I know exactly what to he will do. He will be performing songs from his album ‘Down to Top’ which features single tracks like ‘Down to Top’ and ‘Taunganidza Vanhu’,” he said.Meanwhile George Damson, Calaz’s publicist promised fireworks and suprises.

“We released our new album yesterday titled ‘Bandit Rebirth’ and fans will fall in love with it. This is much more of the clean version of Seh Calaz as a lot of bad stories about him have been in the public.

The album talks about issues affecting society and Calaz is setting an example by suggesting solutions.Calaz will also sing some of the new songs and we want to show the new Calaz to the Zimbabweans and I urge people to come in their numbers,” he said.

Stunner ‘s US tour has been put up together by the Yabe promotions and Zim expo USA.

The tour also coincide with his birthday which will be celebrated in Las Vegas.

Last year Stunner toured US after he was nominated as outstanding male artist Southern Africa at the inagural African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) which were held in Texas.
