It is true that we live in a world full of beauty. For some girls it stares you directly in the face and at other times it is not so easy to find. But to each and everyone one of us, beauty means something else. Late beauty Audrey Hepburn, once said “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

And having all these is beauty.

This is the case for 19-year-old Wadzanai Thembani a second-year student Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Collins College was recently crowned Miss Zimbabwe-USA. The beauty queen beat 11 other girls while Snono Sibanda was voted first princess and Nyasha Michelle became second runner up.

“Education is a vital key to any child’s future and I’d like to make sure every child has an equal opportunity to obtain an education, one community at a time,” said the beauty queen.
