Popular gospel choirs ZimPraise will for the first time perform at Montclair Hotel in Nyanga on Friday. The choir, which had not staged a show in Manicaland is expected to perform in front of Christians and other hotel patrons. Hotel sales and marketing manager Tawanda Kwidini said they have decided to call a gospel group ahead of Easter holidays. “This will be Easter holidays and people will be coming here in Nyanga so we have decided to call them to perform here at the hotel,” said Kwidini.

She added that they were expecting fans from other hotels and lodges to come and worship the lord during the performance of Zim Praise.

The choir is expected to sing their chart-topping albums including “All about Jesus”, “Covenant” and “Sungano”. The hit “Sungano” has been the crowd”s favourite in their past tours.

Public relations manager for the group Farirai Macheka said they were having a different approach of singing for the Lord for people from all walks of life.

“It is a new approach because we will be singing to all the people so to us it is a different set up of ministering the word,” she said.

The praise and worship choir is expected to perform on Friday and Saturday. The next show will be held in Mutare where the choir returns due to public demand.
