According to Ghana News Agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, during the First Session of the Third Ordinary General Assembly Meeting on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Mr. Bosson addressed the controversy, acknowledging the grievances and seeking forgiveness. He stated, 'This may be the last session of the year, and I believe we should leave this issue behind as we enter the new year. The petitioner played the audio, and nowhere did I explicitly say that Assembly members stole streetlights. However, I did mention that some members who should be honorable were not acting honorably. I sincerely withdraw my statement and humbly seek your forgiveness.' Despite the apology, opinions among Assembly members were divided. Some argued that the MCE should return to the same radio station to issue a formal apology, while others felt that since he had admitted his mistake and apologized, the matter should be resolved. The Presiding Member, Mr. Mawunyo Agbe, concluded the discussion by noting that representatives of the media house, where the initial comments were made, were present and would report the MCE's apology.
