RABAT, Morocco's King Mohammed VI has sent a congratulatory message to President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe on his inauguration as the southern African nation's Head of State on Friday following the resignation of President Robert Mugabe.

In this message, the King expressed to his heartfelt wishes for the new president's success in achieving the aspirations of the brotherly Zimbabwean people for further progress and prosperity.

The King also re-affirmed to the Zimbabwean leader the willingness of the Kingdom of Morocco to give new impetus to co-operation with his country to serve the best interests of the two brotherly peoples and contribute to strengthening co-operation and solidarity between the two African countries.
