The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has congratulated Ampem Darkoa Ladies F.C. following their success in the CAF Women's Champions League. The Techiman based side finished fourth in the competition after losing the third placed slot to Morocco's AS Far. A statement from the Ministry Youth and Sports said 'Despite finishing fourth, your team has undeniably made a significant impact, representing Ghana with skill and determination.' It said the Women's Premier League champions had shown some level of fighting spirit in their debut campaign, hence the need to applaud them. 'As the Ministry applauds your achievements, we encourage Ampem Darkoa Ladies and all women's football clubs in Ghana to continue striving for excellence, it urged. It encouraged the side to work diligently and collectively pursue the goal of bringing home gold in upcoming tournaments.
