Home » General » PRESIDENT MUGABE RETURNS TO HARARE AFTER ATTENDING INAUGURATION OF NAIMBIAN PRESIDENT

HARARE, March 23 — President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has returned to Harare from Windhoek where he had attended the inauguration of Namibia’s third president, Dr. Hage Geingon, as well as the country’s 25th independence anniversary on Saturday.

He was welcomed upon his arrival at Harare International Airport by Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko, Environment, Water and Climate Minister Saviour Kasukuwere, and senior government officials.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by several regional leaders including President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania and President Ian Khama of Botswana.
