SAMBOK stormed into the final of the Polo Open 2014, beating Rooneys 10-2 at the Thornpark Polo Grounds yesterday.

By the time Tom De Bruin scored in the fourth chukker to make it 10-1, the match was already over as a contest.

Rooneys scored their second goal in the last chukker. The Sambok team had 15-year-old James Crowe, old war horse of Zimbabwean polo Campbell, his nephew Richard Taylor and De Bruin.
