Tunis: The 49th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, held on July 6-9 in Montreal, Canada, saw Tunisia reinstated as full member of this international parliamentary organisation involving 92 sections worldwide. A delegation made up of members of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) took part in the meetings of the four permanent committees, the activities of the Network of Women Parliamentarians and the plenary sessions of this parliament, according to a statement issued by the ARP on Wednesday. The Tunisian delegation is made up of President of the Tunisian section of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie Amel Meddeb and MPs Omar Barhoumi, Fethi Rejeb, Issam Bahri Jebri and Mohamed Dhaou.
