Accra: Some residents in the Volta region have lauded the transformative agenda of Mr. Alan Kyerematen, Leader of the Afrafranto Alliance Movement. They also praised him for his practical solutions under the Great Transformational Plan (GTP). According to Ghana News Agency, the residents expressed their support during Kyerematen's tour of several towns in the region. They were particularly impressed with his promise to make the Volta Region a Skills Development Hub and his plan to establish a Traders Bank to support businesses across the country. His vision to invest heavily in farming, fishing, and eco-tourism resonated deeply with the residents, aligning with the region's natural strengths. A community leader voiced the sentiment of many, stating, 'Our region has waited for a leader who truly understands our potential.' The leader further praised Kyerematen's commitment to agriculture, fishing, and eco-tourism, noting that he sees the Volta Region as part of Ghana's solution rather than merely a political tool. This admiration was evident in their affectionate reference to him as their 'second father.' He vowed to repay their trust by implementing a transformational agenda that would uplift both the region and the entire country. Amid the jubilant scenes, he urged the people to dismiss the notion that an independent candidate cannot win a presidential election in Ghana, citing examples of successful independent leaders worl dwide. Kyerematen urged voters to ignore the propaganda of the NDC and NPP, asserting that these parties are fearful because they know the people support him. He highlighted the examples of independent leaders like George Washington in America, Emmanuel Macron in France, and Patrice Talon in Benin, who have led their nations to success. Declaring that the election is about leadership and not party colors, Kyerematen inspired the crowd with his vision of rewriting Ghana's story. 'This is not just a political movement; it is a national call for transformation,' he proclaimed, leaving the region to loud cheers from the gathered crowd.
