Pre-trial detention of FTF president Wadie Jary extended by four months
Tunis: The examining magistrate at the Tunis Court of First Instance has extended the pre-trial detention of Wadie Jary, president of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), for another four months, court spokesman Mohamed Zitouna told TAP. Jary was arrested in October last year following a complaint from the Ministry of Youth and Sport. A second detention order was issued against him last November for "mismanagement of public funds". Volleyball African Club Championship – MS Bousalem lose final to Al Ahly of Egypt 0-3
Tunis: Defending champions MS Bousalem lost their crown to Al Ahly of Egypt after losing the final of the African Volleyball Club Championship 3-0 (21-25, 17-25, 17-25 and 18-25) on Tuesday night in Cairo. MS Bousalem had qualified for the final after beating Prisons of Kenya 3-0 (25-15, 25-13 and 25-22) in the semi-finals in Egypt on Monday.
