Sefwi bodi: The Sefwi Bodi Calvary Methodist Church under the Afere Circuit, Sefwi Bekwai Diocese, has organised a Send-Off Church Service in honour of Reverend Kingsley Frimpong Tandoh and his family. In his farewell message, Rev Tandoh urged Christians, especially those in the Afere Circuit, to put God first in everything they did, emphasizing that mankind could not serve God and something else at the same time. He was preaching on the theme: ‘YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND WEALTH. (Luke 16:1-13).’

According to Ghana News Agency, Rev Tandoh highlighted that the Bible clearly stated that one could not serve two masters, explaining that one would either hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other. He remarked, “It is very sad that human beings have allowed themselves for many things to compete for their devotion to God, and wealth is one of the greatest obstacles, and this is unacceptable in the sight of God.”

As part of the ceremony, a pulpit built for the Sefwi Bodi Methodist Church by Rev Tandoh was dedicated to the church by the Very Reverend Alex Asante Anom, the superintendent minister for Sefwi Dwenase Circuit of the Methodist Church, with the assistance of the Assistant Synod Secretary of the Bekwai Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana.
