Bouderbala invited by his Iranian counterpart to participate in extraordinary meeting of Palestine Commission in Tehran

Speaker of Parliament Brahim Bouderbala received from his Iranian counterpart, Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, an invitation to participate in the extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Commission under the Union of parliaments of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting, which will take place on January 10 in Tehran, will focus on the latest developments in Gaza and the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, reads a statement of the Assembly of People's Representatives (HPR). Bouderbala expressed his condolences to the president of the Iranian Shura Council, following the attack, on Wednesday, in the city of Kerman leaving several dead and injured. Bouderbala reaffirmed Tunisia's unwavering position in favor of the Palestinian cause and the right of Palestinians to recover their rights and establish an independent state. He welcomed Iran's support for the Palestinians, underscoring that after their failure aga inst the Palestinian resistance, the Zionist occupation forces are trying to widen the spectrum of conflict, targeting Palestinian leaders abroad. As a reminder, the Lebanese press agency announced on Tuesday the assassination of the deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, Saleh al-Arouri, in Beirut in a strike attributed to Israel.
