Accra: The Minority Caucus in Parliament has issued a warning, threatening to withdraw its co-operation within the legislative body unless sufficient security measures are enacted to facilitate the re-collation of the Ablekuma North parliamentary election results. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Jerry Ahmed Shiab, the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, addressed a press conference at Parliament House on Monday, representing the Caucus. He called upon President John Mahama to intervene by instructing NDC supporters to maintain order. This measure is deemed necessary to allow the Electoral Commission to proceed with collating results from the remaining polling stations that have yet to be accounted for.
