Takoradi: Some residents in Takoradi have praised Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, for his open-door leadership and easy accessibility to the people. According to Ghana News Agency, some of the residents lauded the MP's hands-on approach to governance, describing him as a leader who was deeply connected to the needs of his people. Nana Kofi, a resident, noted that the MP's commitment to serving his constituents highlighted his potential for grassroots leadership in addressing the immediate needs of citizens while fostering trust and unity in the community. 'Honourable Kobby is doing an incredible job, but it might be helpful to establish a formal office or community engagement centre to handle these interactions more efficiently,' he suggested. Maame Adjoa, another resident and a trader, said: 'He is always available to listen to us, no matter how big or small our problems are, and we are grateful to have someone who genuinely cares about our welfare.' Auntie Kona du, another trader, said the MP's efforts had not gone unnoticed and called on other leaders to emulate his approach to accessibility and responsiveness. Reacting to the residents' commendations, Mr Darko-Mensah expressed his commitment to serving his constituents saying, 'It is my responsibility to be accessible to the people who elected me.' He said the concerns of the people were his priority and pledged his continuous commitment to do everything he could to support them.
