Twifo hemang: The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira, Mr Patrick Fiable, has urged residents to dismiss false rumours circulating on social media and within the district, claiming that he misappropriated the Disability Common Fund.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Fiable addressed the issue after his appearance before the Public Accounts Committee, following the release of the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report. He clarified that the report pertained to the period under the previous NPP administration and not his current tenure.

Mr Fiable emphasized that he was confirmed as DCE on April 17, 2025, and therefore the issues mentioned in the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report cannot be linked to his administration.

He appealed to the residents of Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira to concentrate on unity and development instead of misinformation. Mr Fiable expressed his commitment to bringing meaningful development to the district and leaving behind a legacy of integrity and progress.
