Twifo Praso: A tragic accident that occurred near a galamsey site in Twifo Mmaa Baasa in the Twifo Atti Morkwa District of the Central Region has claimed the life of a 22-year-old SHS graduate, identified as Nana Yaw.

According to Ghana News Agency, an eyewitness reported that Nana Yaw, who was riding a motorcycle while speaking on the phone, lost control of the bike and collided with another person on a motorcycle. The impact caused him to be thrown off his bike, resulting in a fatal neck injury.

Nana Yaw was rushed to the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead. The other rider involved in the collision is currently in critical condition at the same hospital.

The body of Nana Yaw has been deposited at the Twifo Atti Morkwa District morgue by unknown individuals. Meanwhile, DSP Charles Addei Boateng, the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Police Commander, stated that the police were not aware of the incident.
