Bolgatanga: President John Dramani Mahama will visit the Upper East Region on Thursday, March 20, 2025, as part of his nationwide 'Thank You' tour following his victory in the December 7, 2024, elections. The President is expected to address a durbar of chiefs and people at the Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga, to express his gratitude for their support and reiterate his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises to the region.

According to Ghana News Agency, the President's visit also highlights the National Democratic Congress's success in securing all 15 Parliamentary seats in the region. The visit is part of efforts to express his gratitude to the region for their endorsement and outline some of the policies being undertaken to address the critical issues confronting the region.
