Accra: The Ghana China Friendship Association (Ghachifa) has extended a congratulations message to the people of China on the country’s 76th national day anniversary celebration. Ghachifa extended the message in a statement signed by its General Secretary, Dr. Benjamin Anyagre, and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
According to Ghana News Agency, the message highlighted Ghachifa’s pride in celebrating the occasion of China’s National Day on October 1, 1949, marking the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) by Chairman Mao. Ghachifa took the opportunity to congratulate the government and people of China for their achievement against fascist colonialism aimed at sovereign freedom and justice focused on people’s welfare.
The statement emphasized that this year’s 76th Anniversary reminded the association of China’s significant event in sovereignty, demonstrating nation-building resilience and patriotic gains towards a promising future. This future is characterized by shared partnership prosperity worldwide.
Ghachifa reiterated its support for the PRC, standing firm on the ‘One China Principle and the 3 Communiqu©s’.
