Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Assembly Endorses President Nominee

Atebubu: Mr Thomas Maswud Yaw Ayarba, the President Nominee, has been approved as the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Chief Executive in the Bono East Region. The nominee secured 42 'yes' votes, representing 95.5 percent of the 44-member assembly, in an election conducted and supervised by the Electoral Commission at Atebubu.

According to Ghana News Agency, in his acceptance speech, Mr Ayarba expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for his nomination and extended his gratitude to the Assembly Members and the traditional authorities in the area for his approval. He emphasized the need for cooperation and support from all stakeholders to facilitate the development of the municipality.

Mr Francis Owusu Antwi, the Bono East Regional Minister, urged the Assembly to prioritize development for the betterment of the people.
