Tunis Afrique Press (TAP) news agency on Friday unveiled the list of athletes nominated for the title of best athlete of the year 2023, in the various competitions of the national sports poll conducted each year by the agency after a pre-selection process which involved several experts and sports journalists. Nominees will vye for the titles of the best male athlete, best female athlete, best soccer player, best male paralympic athlete and best female paralympic athlete during the 2023 competitions. The sporting public can also vote for their favourite athlete via TAP's website www.tap.info.tn Here follows the list of nominees: - Best Football Player: Montassar Talbi, Ilyes Skhiri, Aissa Laidouni - Best Male Athlete: Ayoub Hafnaoui (Swimming), Khalil Jendoubi (Taekwondo), Firas Guattoussi (Taekwondo) - Best Female Athlete: Ons Jabeur (Tennis), Mouna Béji (Petanque), Olfa Cherni (Shooting) - Best Male Paralympic Athlete: Louay Jebabli, Walid Ktila, Meher Rahmani (Rowing) - Best Female Paralympic Athle te: Raoua Tlili, Soumaya Bousaid, Raja Jebabli.
