Wenchi: The Reverend Isaac Gregory Amoah, the Wenchi Head Pastor of the Worldlife Transforming Church in the Bono Region, has cautioned the youth to desist from sinful pleasures and worldliness. He emphasized that staying away from sin is the surest way for the youth to obtain sustaining blessings and good riches from God.
According to Ghana News Agency, Rev Amoah shared this advice during the launch of his book titled "New Creation New Reality" at a service held in Wenchi. He stressed that anyone who belongs to Jesus Christ becomes a new person and therefore hates sin. Rev Amoah called on the youth to draw closer to God through prayers and the study of the Bible.
He further highlighted the need for Christians to strive to live righteously, stating, "Our righteousness is in Jesus Christ, and we must endeavour to abide in Him to be able to bear the fruit of righteous living." Rev Amoah warned that sin acts as a dictator and a barrier that separates individuals from God, damaging and destroying the soul and one's relationship with the Creator.
Rev Amoah cautioned that the destruction caused by sin often goes beyond repair, urging the youth to stop sinning to avoid reaching a stage of apostasy where it becomes very difficult to rebuild their relationship with God.
