Two wanted takfiri individuals were arrested by National Guard units in Kairouan and Gafsa, according to two press releases issued on Friday by the National Guard General Directorate. A patrol of the Terrorism Prevention Unit in the Kairouan National Guard arrested a takfiri who was under investigation by various security units and judicial structures for belonging to a terrorist organisation. In a second press release, the General Directorate reported that a second takfiri individual employed by the Tunisian Company for the Exploitation and Distribution of Water, was arrested after searching his house and seizing water meters.
